Recognising those members of the Glasgow Fire Service and the Glasgow Salvage Corps who died in the course of their duties.
About the memorial

Within the Glasgow Necropolis, is the stone memorial dedicated to the 14 members of the Glasgow Fire Service and the 5 members of the Glasgow Salvage Corps who died fighting the fire in Cheapside Street on 28 March 1960, plus the 7 members of the Glasgow Fire Service who died whilst fighting the fire in Kilbirnie Street on 25 August 1972.
