Commemorating and remembering members of the fire service across the UK, who have died in the course of their duties.

About the memorial

The Red Plaque Scheme is an initiative of the Fire Brigades Union, launched in 2017 and funded via their Firefighters 100 Lottery, a charitable initiative by the Union. 

Red Plaques can be found across the UK near to locations where firefighters died while protecting their community.
